Industrial Arts Merit Badge Midway

“Be Prepared” to get your hands dirty at the Pacific Skyline Council’s INDUSTRIAL ARTS Merit Badge Midway, featuring many of the badges dedicated to the vocational arts! This isn’t your parents’ woodshop! Did you know that almost 40% of all Scouts get their first exposure to a lifelong hobby or career through the Merit Badge program?

Time:

• 8:30 AM: Check-In
• 9:00 AM-12:00 PM: Morning Session
• 12:00 PM-1:00 PM: Lunch (Bring Your Own Lunch)
• 1:00 PM-4:00 PM: Afternoon Session

Cost:

$55 (includes up to two merit badge classes)

Scouts must bring a signed BLUE CARD for each assigned Merit Badge class.

Appropriate Attire:

While a Scout uniform is always appropriate, many of these classes are hands-on sessions that require you to get down and dirty!  Non-polyester, full coverage clothing (i.e., long-sleeved shirts, jeans) and closed-toe leather boots or similar material shoes should be worn. Eye protection and other PPE, if necessary, will be supplied on-site.

Lunch is NOT provided, so plan accordingly.
