Industrial Arts Merit Badge Midway

“Be Prepared” to get your hands dirty at the Pacific Skyline Council’s INDUSTRIAL ARTS Merit Badge Midway, featuring many of the badges dedicated to the vocational arts! This isn’t your parents’ woodshop! Did you know that almost 40% of all Scouts get their first exposure to a lifelong hobby or career through the Merit Badge program?

Date: Saturday, September 14, 2024

Time:

• 8:00-9:00 AM: Check-In
• 9:00 AM-4:00 PM Merit Badge Session
• Lunch will be from 12:00-1:00 PM - Lunch is NOT provided, so plan accordingly

Cost: $60

Scouts must bring a signed BLUE CARD for their Merit Badge class.

Merit Badges to be Offered:

• Plumbing 
• Welding
• Electricity 
• Automotive Maintenance 
   

All classes are full day classes – scouts must attend before and after lunch to get full credit. Prerequisites and follow ups are at the counselor's discretion, with further instructions sent to Scouts 10 days before class. Automotive Maintenance will have an additional session, date to be determined by the instructor.

Appropriate Attire:

Scout uniform is not recommended since all classes involve hands-on, down and dirty instruction. Long pants, long sleeve shirts, and closed toed shoes required. Caps optional. PPE will be provided by the Plumbers Union.

Lunch is NOT provided, so plan accordingly.
