Council Camporee

New! Fall Camporee Added for 2025. Please read important information specific to this event only.
Registration opens Wednesday, October 1st at 9:00 AM. Registration is first come, first served. However...
Priority for New Participants
- This event is designed first and foremost for Units that did not attend the Spring Camporee. If your Unit attended in the spring, please allow others the chance to experience Camporee before registering for a second time.
Wait List System
- All registrations will initially go to a wait list (similar to Gold Rush, but there is no lottery -- it's first come, first served). We will review entries individually to ensure that Troops who missed the spring event get first access. Your troop is responsible for the fees for all spots on your waitlisted registration. Check with your troops to prevent overbooking spots.
Approval & Payment Window
- Once your registration is approved, you will be notified by email. You will then have until October 7 to complete payment. If payment is not received within that window, the spot will be released to another Troop on the wait list, including Troops that have attended previously (space permitting).
Combined Troop Pilot Units must register as one troop. Linked Troops must register as separate troops.
Planning Meetings
- One adult leader from each participating unit must attend the two planning meetings. Planning meetings will include Camporee logistics, determining station assignments, and more.
- 1st Planning Meeting: Tuesday, October 7th at 7:00 PM via Zoom
- 2nd Planning Meeting: Tuesday, October 21st at 7:00 PM via Zoom

Prepare yourselves to survive the wilderness at our 2025 Survivor Camporee! "Only the Prepared Survive"
Learn and practice your fire building, first aid, and a host of other wilderness survival skills. Enjoy campfires, games, and field events. Show your Scout skills and compete against your fellow Scouts!
A camporee is many things—camping fun for youth, the thumping of hundreds of feet on the way to an evening campfire, and the blue smoke from fires cooking stew or ham and eggs. It’s the ripple of wind-blown flags in the morning sun. It’s catching the idea of teamwork in a patrol.
A camporee can be a perfect showplace for the Scouting program and, therefore, go far beyond just being a gathering of youth. A camporee starts with the recognition that a patrol is the basic camping unit. The patrol demonstrates its very best camping techniques and shares its experiences with other patrols. The camporee involves the type of equipment that can be carried in a pack by youth and can be set up entirely by them, allowing them to be completely self-sufficient for a self-reliant experience over a period of two or three days.
