Cub Overnighter for Wolves and Bears on October 21-22

The annual Cub Overnighter for Wolf and Bear Cub Scouts will be on Friday, October 21 and Saturday, October 22. Check-in begins at 5:00pm on Friday evening. The event will end by 4:00pm on Saturday.

The Cub Overnighter will be at the Sebastian Campground on the Tejon Ranch. The Sebastian Campground is an area managed by the Tejon Conservancy. The camping area is open field. There will be portapotties (no flush toilets). You will need to bring drinking water (two gallons per person in your party should be enough). So, yes, this is a primitive campsite. Be prepared and follow the packing list available on the website’s calendar link for this event.

Come out and camp under the clearest sky in the valley, lit up be only the stars above. There will be full schedule activities for the Scouts including: evening songs, stories and skits; archery; BB guns, crafts, games, and a nature walk. Meals will be provided for Saturday breakfast and lunch. There will also be a Friday night snack and plenty of water to drink. Cost for the event is:

$15 per Scout

$15 per Adult (age 18+)

$15 for non-scout youth (ages 4-17)

$0 - age 3 & under

Families are welcome - non-Scout youth may have the opportunity to take part in some of the activities.   No program specifically for non-scout youth.
