National Scout Jamboree

July 18 to July 31, 2026

Bechtel Summit Reserve - West Virginia

Youth Participants

The Jamboree is open to all who are qualified on a first-come, first-served basis.  Qualifications to attend the National Jamboree include:

• Registered member of a Scouts BSA Troop, who will be at least 12 years old by July 22, 2026, but who has not yet reached their 18th birthday by July 31, 2026.
• Must live and abide by the Scout Oath & Law
• Must abide by the Jamboree Code of Conduct

Adult Leadership:

• Scoutmaster - James Avery
• 1st Asst. Scoutmaster - Michael Dunn
• 2nd Asst. Scoutmaster - Brad James
• 3rd Asst. Scoutmaster - Roger Smith

Total Jamboree Fee:  $5,200.00 per participant (payments due the 15th of each month - see payment schedule)

Option 1 - Cash Payments paid to Southern Sierra Council

Option 2 - Check - payable to Southern Sierra Council

Option 3 - Credit Card - online payments by using personal reservation number.   Credit card payments may also be made at the Council office.

Combinations of the above are welcome.

Register online ONLY.   Please save your registration number and be sure to always use the same Registration Number when making additional payments so they are applied to the balance due.  

To re-enter your original registration - return to registration page; select "Lookup" in the upper right; then select "Lookup Registration".   Enter the email for the registration and the registration number.
