Adventure Awaits at Camp Chawanakee!

Enjoy swimming, boating, shotgun, rifle, archery, a 52-foot climbing wall, and plenty of hands-on activities at Camp Chawanakee! New for 2027: Try scuba diving through the SCUBA BSA Award and explore Music, Theater, and Public Speaking in our new Performing Arts area.

Set along the shores of Shaver Lake in the Sierra Nevada, Camp Chawanakee offers a beautiful setting to learn new skills, build confidence, strengthen friendships, and make lasting memories.

Our dedicated camp staff is ready to support your unit and help every camper get the most out of their week. Whether it’s your first summer at camp or a return to a favorite tradition, we look forward to welcoming you for 80 Years of Adventure in 2027!
