Minimum age 13 years old, not recommended for Scouts under 14 years old.
A Parental Firearms Permission Form  waiver must be completed for each Scout participating PRIOR to the day of the event.

Course Information:

• ·Completed and signed Shooting Sports Permission Form (only one copy)
• ·Bring with you your USI “Orange Card” or Complete Required USI “Orange Card” waiver at https://unitedsportsmen.com/waiver/
• ·Bring your Shotgun merit badge Blue Card opened with your Scoutmaster
• ·Scout uniforms are not required, and "Class A" is Discouraged.
• ·Bring Water, hat, and sunscreen. 
• ·You may bring snacks/lunch if you wish. We do not take a formal lunch break.

Please come to the session prepared

1)  Read the Shotgun Merit Badge book

2)  Complete all prerequisites and written assignment and bring to session

3)  You can organize your work in any way you wish or you can use a Merit Badge worksheet to organize your work
