The Troop Committee Challenge training is highly recommended for all parents with youth in the Scouts-BSA program

This two and a half hour course will be an excellent introduction to the Scouts BSA program for parents who are new to Scouting or who recently bridged from Cub Scouts. The course will be presented Saturday at the Merit Badge Extravaganza.

This training will cover all requirements for committee members or chairs to be trained for their positions. 

Topics covered will include:

• Mission and Structure of Scouting America.
• Aims of Scouting and Methods of the Scouts BSA Program.
• The Chartered Organization
• Troop Leadership.
• Troop Committee Organization and Responsibilities.
• Selecting and Retaining Adult Leaders.

The cost for this training is just $5.00 per registered adult.
