JUMP right in to Cub Scout FUN at Cub Camping Connection!!! This event is meant for brand new Cub Scouts who have not been camping yet!

Join us at rustic Rancho Los Mochos Scout Camp in the scenic Livermore Hills for an exciting overnight of fun and adventure under the stars!  Arrival time on Saturday between 7:30 AM and 8:30 AM for check-in and tent set-up. Announcements & Programs start at 9 AM sharp!

Program will end before 11am on Sunday morning; all campers are invited to attend the Cub Scout Pumpkin Patch event at Joan's Farm on Mines Road in Livermore on their way home!

Who can attend Camping Connection?   BRAND NEW Lions, Tigers, Cub Scouts (Wolves & Bears), Webelos, Arrow of Light Scouts and their adult partner. This is the introduction to the 1:1 parent to youth format of our Cub Scouting program. Our star of the show is the brand new Cub Scout here. We kindly ask that you respect that and have your non-scout siblings and Scouts, BSA youth wait at home for their turn to shine.

What will you do at Camping Connection? Experience an introduction to some exciting Cub Scout activities to prepare you for all the FUN you will have in the months to come!The Camping Connection program includes: archery range and BBguns, crafts, nature activities, songs & skits. Enjoy prepared meals and a great outdoor campfire in the evening!

What is included this weekend? Lunch and dinner on Saturday, a crackerbarrel snack that evening, Sunday breakfast; and a woodsy place to set up your tent.  All program supplies and activities are included, and lots and lots of FUN!

What is the cost? NEW Cub Scout and parent or adult partner are only $130 together.

During Registration, you will need to select ONE time slot each for Archery and BB Guns.  These are listed as "Classes" in your Scout's registration details. Note: Lions may only participate in Archery.  Tigers through Arrow of Light may participate in Archery and BB Guns.

$130.00 per Brand New Cub Scout & Adult Partner. 

• Cub Scout siblings may attend with 1 Parent Partner/Adult Partner. Cost is $130 per Cub Scout. 
• A Cub Scout may attend with 2 Parent Partners/Adult Partners. 

HOW TO REGISTER: 

We will open registration September 6, 2024. We please ask that we hold this event for our brand new families, so they may experience their first time camping with us.
