Join us for our

Second Annual Golden Gate Area Council

Outdoor Planning Conference!

All Scouters with interest in the program parts of Scouting are invited to attend!

We will have breakouts and discussions on the following topics and much more!

  • Advancement
  • Camping
  • Commissioners
  • District Chairs
  • Enterprise Risk Management
  • NCAP (National Camp Accreditation Program)
  • Order of the Arrow
  • Properties
  • Training

This conference has four primary objectives:

  1. Fellowship! Networking among Scouters is always in our Scouts' best interest! 
  2. Review and build upon our ideal Program Plan
  3. Have FUN!

Scouters are welcome to join us Friday through Sunday or any combination of days, including Saturday only!

6:00pm - 10:00pm - Check in 

8:30pm - 10:00pm - Cracker Barrel

 

Saturday

7:00am - Breakfast

7:00am - 9:00am Check-in for Saturday arrivals

8:00am - Welcome and Introductions - Vice President of Program

9:00am - 10:00am - Session 1

10:00am - 11:00am - Session 2

11:00am - 12:00pm - Session 3

12:00pm - 1:30pm - Lunch and Fireside chat with the Council Key 5

1:30pm - 2:30pm - Ideal Year of Scouting by Program 

2:30pm - 4:00pm - GGAC 5th Anniversary Discussion

4:00pm - 6:00pm Camp Tour 

6:00pm - Dinner

7:00pm - Putting together our 2023-2025 Council Calendar

8:30pm - Ice Cream Social

 

Sunday

7:00am - 9:00am - Informal Continental Breakfast

9:00am - Staff Wrap-up Session

Accomodations

All are welcome to camp with us for the weekend, we will not have indoor sleeping accomodations.  It is more rustic than last year and you will need to bring your own tent.  All dining utensils and meals are provided.

Cost

Staff/ Support - $50

Adult Participant - $50 until 8/5/22 $60 after

Youth Participant - $25
