Order of the Arrow Ordeal June 12-14, 2026 OA MEMBERS ONLY

When & Where:

Camp Wolfeboro. Friday check-in starting at 7:00 PM.

$40.00 registration fee.

REGISTRATION CLOSES AT 11:59 PM ON Friday, May 29, 2026.

You will receive detailed instructions once registered for the event. In order to participate, you must be registered in Golden Gate Area Council.

Bring a paper copy of your BSA medical form parts A and B. Make sure everyone in your car has done the same. Our check-in desk will not have cellular signal. If you forget, you will be asked to turn around and come back with a paper medical form.

There is a rough 2.5 mile, single-lane road from the upper parking lot down to the main camp. You ideally want a 4WD/AWD vehicle with a little bit of ground clearance. A Subaru Outback or Honda CR-V AWD were both just fine. A minivan is an example of a vehicle that would probably not do well. We will have very limited parking in the upper parking lot.

There is no electricity after lights out. If you require a CPAP machine, make sure you have sufficient battery power.

If you are over 18 as of June 12, 2026, you must meet these additional requirements:

1. Have current Youth Protection training through Sunday, June 14, 2026.
2. Be fully compliant with AB 506 which includes mandated state training and a Livescan background check. More information can be found at https://californiascouting.org. Please allow 30 days after your Livescan to complete processing and get the information properly recorded in the council records.
3. All adults staying overnight in connection with a Scouting activity must be currently registered as an adult volunteer or an adult program participant.  Adult volunteers must register in the position(s) they are serving in. Registration as a merit badge counselor position does not meet this requirement.
