Merit Badge Extravaganza 2022
This is an annual advancement event hosted by the volunteers of Mission Peak District in the Golden Gate Area Council that gives local Scouts, ages 11-17 the opportunity to earn merit badges ranging from recreational activities like Bird Study and Cycling to Eagle Scout required merit badges like Emergency Preparedness and Personal Management.
Held on Saturday, December 3rd at Washington High School in Fremont it is MBEx’s intent to create an environment where Scouts have an opportunity to continue their advancement program and earn valuable merit badges that may not be readily available elsewhere. Scouts can earn up to two merit badges in one day, while helping them on their path to earn their Eagle Scout rank and serve our community.
MBEx2022 is held on a Saturday and formally starts at 8:45am and runs till 4:30pm. For the students, the day is divided into two 3 hour classes with a built-in lunch in the middle of the day. All scheduling is handled by the MBEx volunteer staff.
NOTE that one adult must register and remain on campus with each unit that registers.

Closing: 4:00 pm - 4:30 pm Everyone participate in service
