Mission Peak Acorn Spring 2024 - Course 2 – IOLS

Mission Peak Acorn Training consists of 2 courses, Scoutmaster Position Specific Training (SMPST) and Introduction to Outdoor Leadership Skills (IOLS).  Both courses are required for adults to earn the "Trained" status for Scouts BSA.  To also earn the coveted Mission Peak Acorn neckerchief and slide you MUST take both courses in-person through the Mission Peak District.  Taking the courses online or through another district/council/summer camp, will not qualify you for the coveted Mission Peak Acorn neckerchief and slide.  Both courses are recommended to be completed in the same year, but not required.
