You’re Invited to the
2025 Meridian District Camporee -
"Adventure: Impossible"
Agent of IMF, listen up. This is your briefing for a mission like no other. The Meridian District is calling for an elite team of scouts to assemble for a top-secret operation. Your objective: report to Rancho Los Mochos from April 25th to 27th, 2025, where Camporee 2025 will commence.
Prepare your gear and get ready to engage in multi-patrol challenges and daring missions that will test your skills and teamwork. Remember, this exercise is more than just fun—it’s a mission where your precision, courage, and determination will lead the way.
Agent of IMF, your mission awaits. Good luck, and may your resourcefulness guide you through every twist and turn.
What is a Camporee?
A camporee is a fun camping event to showcase scouting principles and the scouting program. A camporee recognizes the patrol method as the basic camping unit, fostering teamwork amongst its members. It encourages leadership, teamwork, and healthy competition to display skills learned in scouting in a fun and creative way.
What is new this year?
We are partnering with the Tri-Valley chapter of the CAP (Civil Air Patrol) to offer a variety of aviation activities. Participants will explore everything from basic principles and aerial navigation to the design, construction, and operation of various flying machines. There may even be an opportunity to examine the flight controls and cockpit instruments of a real aircraft. Aviation merit badge will be offered. In addition to game stations available to all scouts, we will feature challenging activity stations for older, more experienced scouts who have "been there, done that." We will also include stations designed to test the basic skills and teamwork of trailhead scouts.
- “Mission Impossible”-themed game stations
- Flight-themed activities including Aviation merit badge
- Challenging game stations for experienced scouts
- Trailhead scouts-exclusive game stations.
Registration is designed for an entire troop to be registered together as a unit. The Scoutmaster or a designated troop leader is the one to do this. The last date to make revisions will be April 11, 2025.
Scoutmasters: With your approval, direct your Scouts that are interested in being on Youth Staff to complete this online form: https://forms.gle/d2vMDpiiQRXiTyMd9. We need at least two and at most five from each Troop.
