Dual Track Leave No Trace Level 1 Instructor
and Leave No Trace Skills courses.

October 12 - 13, 2024 at Camp Herms 

Registered Adults may take the Leave No Trace Level 1 Instructor (formerly Trainer) course leading to certification as a Level 1 Leave No Trace Instructor or the Leave No Trace Skills course.

Registered Scouts (age 14-17 and at least first class) may take the Leave No Trace Skills course only.

Level 1 Instructor certification requires preparation of a 10-15 minute presentation prior to the weekend of outdoor training at Rancho Los Mochos.   Details will be e-mailed to registrants in late September.

“The Skills course is highly recommended for Scouts who wish to hold the Outdoor Ethics Guide position of responsibility and satisfies requirement 6 for the National Medal for Outdoor Achievement.

All participants should already be familiar with the Leave No Trace 7 Principles.
