WHO: ALL Levels of Scouts and Families
WHEN: May 3rd, 730pm-9pm
WHERE: Camp Herm Quarry
Come enjoy popcorn and share skits, songs, and tall tales! Comment in your registration if you wish to perform!
Bring your own chairs, drinks, flashlight, and jackets!
For Families - Drop Offs not allowed. Must stay on site with youth.
LEARN TO COOK IN A DUTCH OVEN!
WHO: All Adults and ScoutsBSA Youth with a Parent/Guardian/Scout Leader (and Sea Scouts welcome!)

ARCHERY RANGEMASTER TRAINING (Cubs and Scouts, not for Merit Badge Counselors)
WHO: Adults - Cub and Scout Leaders, and Parents/Guardians (Must be Registered Adults - BeAScout.org )
WHEN: May 4th (SUNDAY) 10AM-12/1PM
WHERE: Camp Herms Archery Range
Cub Scout Level Rangemasters NEEDED for Day Camp (July 8-11) and for future Cub Target Sports Days! Join us for a quick training on Sunday!
DID YOU KNOW? Troops can use Camp Herms ranges for Archery? You just need a BSA Trained Rangemaster! This does NOT qualify you to sign off on Merit Badges, but reserve the range for half a day, $50! What a great short local activity!
INTRODUCTION TO OUTDOOR LEADERSHIP SKILLS for ASMs and SMs
WHO: Registered Assistant Scoutmasters, Scoutmasters, future ASMs/SMs, and volunteer parents (must be a registered adult - BeAScout.org)
WHEN: Saturday May 3, 3pm - Sunday May 4th, 10am
WHERE: Camp Herms Lodge, Quarry, & Dogpatch
Every Scout deserves a trained leader! Come finsih your ASM/SM training and get signed off as offically TRAINED. Here we will do the fun stuff: build fire, tie knots, cook, and learn basics on patrol methods, interfaith/non-denominational ceremonies. Also share your experiences and discuss ideas with fellow ASMs/SMs!
This training does require overnight camping. You are welcome to sleep overnight at Camp Herms on May 3-4th, but exceptions can be made for those attending Camporee or other District/Council overnight opportunities. Please see Alyssa Padia for questions. Alyssa.Padia@Scouting.org.

Welcome to Scouting! Get an introduction to the basic skills you will learn on your path to Eagle Scout rank! Learn Scout through First Class skills like: fire building, knife safety, basic orienteering, and knots! Learn the skills here, practice at home, and then show your SPL at a later date to get them signed off in your Handbook!
PARENTS MUST STAY ON SITE unless under the supervision of a Unit Leader.
This event organized by your District Executive and taught by Herms District Volunteers! We are all many parts, but one Herms District Scouting Community!!
