Herms District Day Camp 2024

OFF TO THE RACES!!

REGISTRATION OPEN, CLOSES MAY 15th

Join us for our incredible Cub Scout Day Camp from June 24th to June 28th, 2024 at Camp Herms, El Cerrito.  This year's theme is...OFF TO THE RACES!! 

Cub Scouts will participate in various activities to stretch their minds and muscles!

Activities include:

            Outside games and challenges

            Archery/BB Gun Safety Education and Practice

            Crafts and Scout Skills Practice

            Cooking / Healthy Snacks

            Lunchtime Assemblies

Who can come?

• New Scouts (register at: BeAScout.org)
• Registered Cub Scouts entering the 1st – 5th Grade in August 2024
• Tigers (youth entering 1st grade) must be accompanied a Cub Scout Parent/Guardia
• Recently bridged AOL's (entering 6th grade) and older Scouts to help as Jr. Helpers

NOTE:  For adult volunteers, we may be able to offer a “TAG” daycare program for siblings between 2yrs and 1st Grade.  Complete this form (https://forms.gle/ZHUhERK6szZ4YHpD6)  if you can volunteer but need the daycare program. Siblings over 5 must enroll in the Scout Day Camp.

Camp Details

DATE: June 24th - June 28th, 2023

TIME: Program runs 9:00am-3:30pm  //  Check In 8:30 – 9am  //  Pick Up 3:30-3:45

    *Volunteers 8:00am-4:00pm

LOCATION: Camp Herms, 1100 James Place, El Cerrito, CA 94530

FOOD:  All participants bring bag lunch. Some snacks will be provided.  Must note FOOD RESTRICTIONS and allergies on Registration Forms.

COST:  $150 before May 15th, $175 before June 15th

Registration includes all activities and materials, Camp T-shirt, and official day camp scout patch.

Spend a few days or the whole week with the Scouts!  Be an Asst Den Leader, Activity Leader, Cooking Leader, Check in or Pick Up helper, or help before Camp to prep materials!  Helpers to be thanks with lots of appreciation and discounts on registration.

Who are JR HELPERS?

Registered Youth BSA Members (Troops, Crews, Ships) are wanted to help make camp fun!  Be a "Den Chief" for the week, Activity lead, Rangemaster Assistant, Tag Leader Assistant, Program Director Assistant.  Your skills and energy can make a big difference!
