2025 Herms District Camporee
Theme: Lets take it to the Beach!
@ Lake Berryessa
April 25, 26, 27, 2025
Open to all Troops, Crews, and Ships
What:
BSA units from across Herms District come together in the spirit of friendly competition at the annual Camporee. Events at Camporee are presented by participating units, and are designed to challenge a Scout’s basic scout skills learned through the First Class scout rank. PLUS the exciting Cord-On-Blue patrol cooking competition.
Our Camporee led by the Camporee SPL and PLC. This year’s chosen theme is "Let's Go to the Beach!”. Bring your Scout Spirit to match the theme!
Camporee is conducted at its current location by way of a special use permit issued by the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation (BoR) to the Herms District Camporee Committee. Units are requested to participate in a Service Day at Berryessa about a month prior to Camporee. Competition points are earned for participating.
Don't forget do download your Camporee Handbook [Still in Progress - Coming Soon!] for activity description and daily agenda.
All adults (18+) attending the camporee must be a Registered Adult with GGAC and completed Youth Protection Training, CA fingerprinting, and CA Mandated Reporter Training. Please contact your Unit or Herms District Executive Alyssa.Padia@scouting.org for help registering.
