CharlesTownesSupernova2020
Webelos and AOLs come join the GGAC's STEM Committe for a 7-week opportunity to learn all about science, technology, engineering, and math while earning Cub Scouting’s highest STEM Award the Dr. Charles Townes SUPERNOVA Award. Over the course of seven weeks, scouts will work with a mentor virtually to explore different areas of STEM, from building a circuit with Scouts BSA, going on a geological hike, to seeing how science, technology, engineering and math affect their daily lives.
We will start meeting via Zoom or a similar platform on Monday, September 14th, 2020 and meet every Monday evening until October 26th, 2020. There will be two separate sessions, one at 6:30PM and one at 7:30PM. Each session will go for a maximum of 50 minutes. If conditions allow, we will try to meet in person (with appropriate social distancing) at the GGAC Service Center in Pleasant Hill for the final Science Fair.
This event is for Webelos and Arrow of Light Scouts only.
