On July 27th, 2024 from 9am - 12pm, the Chief Solano District will host its 2024 Summer Shooting Sports Event (BB Gun Shooting & Archery) at Rockville Presbyterian Church. 4177-A Suisun Valley Rd, Fairfield, CA 94534. 

The Scouting America Shooting Sports program is focused on safety, handling and marksmanship skills, and good sportsmanship beginning when the Scout is a little Lion and continuing until they reach Eagle and beyond. The 3 legs of the Cub Scout program are Archery, Slingshots and BB Guns. 

Archery and Slingshots are open to all Scouts starting at Lions. BB Guns are open to Scouts starting at Tigers. 

This one-day workshop is offering Level 1 and 2 BB Gun and Archery training. Slingshots may be offered between sessions if time allows. At the end of the workshop your Scout will be awarded a certificate to take back to their Cubmaster to obtain their Shooting Sports award(s).

BB Gun and Archery sessions are 45-minutes each. You may sign up for each sport, but they must be in different sessions.

All equipment will be provided. Please bring the following forms with you: Medical Forms A + B, Parentsl Firearms Permssion form. PDFs are provided in this registration as attachments. 

Lion and Tigers must have their parents present and available to help their child at all times.
