Welcome to the Spring Camporee.  We are so excited that you have decided to join us.  This event is being held in the beautiful Skyline Wilderness Park in Napa. It is an opportunity for our scouts to compete within their patrols and show off their scouting skills and patrol spirit with many other troops in our district.  We encourage and support both boys and girls BSA Scout troops to participate.  

Competing in Camporee gives troops a timeline to dive in and teach the basic principles in scouting that are vital to the scouts successful experience in all their scouting adventures.  Camporee puts an emphasis on knowing knots, lashings, nature, first aid, orienteering, fire building and such.  With the mastery of these skills the scouts will be able to utilize them consistently throughout their scouting time and in life in general. 

Camporee creates an environment for scouts and the youth leadership to encourage patrol spirit, bonding and development of leadership skills.  It is an ogranized event the youth leaders have opportunities to use the edge method to teach the essential skills in scouting.
