Mission Peak District’s First Target & Range Sports Event 

May 30 - June 1, 2025 at Rancho Los Mochos, Livermore, CA.  

Schools out and the sun is shining, keep the Scouting fun going....Come on up to Rancho Los Mochos and experience the thrill of archery, rifle, shotgun and tomahawk.  Whether you are new to target & range sports or have some experience, come out with your fellow Scouts to experience the fun or improve your marksmanship!

This event is meant to be a fun event; no merit badge requirements or completions will take place. Open to youth, Scouts BSA or Venture Scouts. 

Registration is by Unit only.  Each Unit can bring up to 8 Scouts.  Only one registration per Unit; no individual Scout registrations. 

The cost for the event is $55 per Scouts BSA or Venture Youth.  At least 2 registered adults must accompany each Unit's Scouts at the event.  There is no fee for adult attendees.   

Scouts will rotate through 4 different ranges in one session (about 4 hours long). 

Units choose one session from the following options: 

Saturday Morning (approximately 7:45am to noon);

Saturday Afternoon (approximately 12:15pm to 4:30 pm) ;

OR

Sunday Morning (approximately 7:45am - noon).

Session selection is made by the Registration Contact.

Scouts have the option to purchase lunch on Saturday only.  Cost is $8 per person.  

Lunch choices are:

Hot dogs (2), fruit, and chips or cookie (depending on what is available);

or

Freshly made vegetarian chilli with buns (vegetarian sloppy joes), fruit, and chips or cookie (depending on what is available).

Lunch selection made during registration process. 

Units can treat this event as a day event or camp overnight.  Camping options include one or two nights at Blue Oak: Friday night, Saturday night or Friday & Saturday night.  Cost to camp is an additional $5 per person, per day.  Camping selection made during registration process.
