The Troop Committee Challenge training is highly recommended for all parents with youth in the Scouts-BSA program

This two hour course will be an excellent introduction to the Scouts BSA program for parents who are new to Scouting or who recently bridged from Cub Scouts. The course will be presented Saturday October 5 in Teel Lodge in beautiful Rancho Los Mochos during the Mission Peak District Fall Camporee. 

The Course will be offered free to all registered adults.   

Advance registration is highly recommended so that we can be sure that participants will get credit for the training.  This training will cover all requirements for committee members or chairs to be trained for their positions.

• Mission and Structure of Scouting America.
• Aims of Scouting and Methods of the Scouts BSA Program.
• The Chartered Organization
• Troop Leadership.
• Troop Committee Organization and Responsibilities.
• Selecting and Retaining Adult Leaders.
