Introduction to Outdoor Leader Skills Training

• WHO: IOLS training is for Leaders, Committee Members & interested Webelos Den Leaders
• WHERE: Camp Herms, 1100 James Place at Thors Bay, El Cerrito
• WHEN: Saturday May 4, 2019 7:30am to Subday, May 5, 2019 4:30pm
• COST: $45 if you register by April 12, 2019 / $55 if you register after April 12, 2019 Registration is limited to the first 48 who register. The cost includes all meals.

IOLS is required of all direct contact leaders as part of the requirement to be considered 'TRAINED'.

This course provides adult leaders the practical outdoor skills they need to lead Scouts in the out-of-doors. Upon completion, leaders should feel comfortable teaching Scouts the basic skills required to obtain the First Class rank. Along with Scoutmaster Specifics this course is required of all direct contact leaders registered in Boy Scout Troops in order to be considered “trained”.
