Webelos Woods 2026

Friday and Saturday, October 16-17, 2026

At Coast Guard Island 

Hosted by Order of the Arrow 

First-year and Second-year Webelos Scout dens and their parents are invited on an adventure with the Alameda Area District Scout troops, Venturing crews, and Sea Scout ships of Alameda.

Come enjoy the Friday evening campfire camaraderie and program, Saturday Scout skills, crafts and activities. Be amazed by new ideas and meet the local Scout Troops, Venturing Crews, and Sea Scout Ships.

Webelos dens, and troops, crews, & ships bring tents, sleeping gear, and Friday bag dinners.

Webelos Scouts must camp with a parent or guardian (BSA rule).  

No tent stakes permitted on CGI activity areas.  

$20.00 event registration fee per person - submitted by unit online to council byMonday, October 121 [Text Wrapping Break] $25.00 late registration per person — submitted unit online to council after October 12 

Webelos Woods participant fee includes multi-color embroidered patch, cracker-barrel, program supplies, and a fantastic Saturday breakfast at the Coast Guard Galley. At on-site check-in, unit leader picks up your breakfast tickets, and may also sign up participants for a Coast Guard Ship Tour on Saturday after Webelos Woods 

Carpool to Coast Guard Island (CGI) thru Dennison Street entrance. CGI Security requires each driver have a Driver's License, vehicle registration, and proof of auto insurance 

All Scouts and Venturers attending must wear uniforms  

All youth and adult participants must be registered as a Unit Contingent — this is done [Text Wrapping Break]online with participant names and unit payment included at www.bsa-alameda.org. [Text Wrapping Break]Only registered adults will be then be included on CGI gate entrance list.
