Hello Popcorn Kernels,
We are excited to invite you to our upcoming Popcorn Kernel Training sessions!
This is a great opportunity to learn about what's new for this year's sale, review best practices, explore effective sales strategies, and learn about program updates and product offerings. Whether you're a brand-new Kernel or a seasoned popcorn veteran, these sessions will help set your unit up for a successful fundraising season.
This year, we're offering two different training tracks (both will be recorded):
Popcorn 101 – New & Beginner Kernels
Designed for first-time Kernels and unit leaders who would like a refresher on the basics. We'll cover
- The popcorn program and timeline
- The Leader Portal
- Key dates and deadlines
- Storefronts and online sales
- The Trail's End app
- Ordering popcorn
- Unit and Scout incentives
- Tips for running a successful sale
Advanced Kernel Roundtable
Designed for experienced Kernels, this session will be more conversational and focused on:
- What's new for 2026, incentives and timeline
- Sharing ideas and best practices
- Discussing challenges and solutions
- Strategies to increase sales
Everyone is welcome to attend either session or both. Experienced Kernels may find the beginner session helpful for learning about new features and updates, while newer Kernels are encouraged to join the roundtable to learn from successful units.
