Day Camp Administration In-Council Training

Are you serving as a Camp Director or Program Director for a 2026 Summer Day Camp or Twilight Camp? This REQUIRED training will certify you to lead your camp and ensure you are fully prepared to deliver a safe, high-quality Cub Scout experience.

This in-council training covers:

Day Camp administration requirements

BSA policies and procedures

NCAP standards and compliance

Program planning and logistics

Risk management and health & safety

Best practices for running a successful Cub Scout Day or Twilight Camp

Attendance at one of these sessions is required to receive Day Camp Director certification.

If you are unable to attend the session, please contact us to make alternate arrangements. National Camp School (NCS) Day Camp Administration Training will also be offered March 14–16 through the Greater Yosemite Council for those pursuing that option.
