BRIONES TROOP CHALLENGE 2026

Scouts, we’re going to be freeing the aliens from area 510.

April 25-26 at Camp Herms, El Cerrito

GREETINGS EARTHINGS, 

We want you to join us this April at Area 510 (Camp Herms) for this year’s troop challenge! It's a multi-troop campout where scouts compete in a series of skill-based events and team challenges. It’s similar to Camporee but more laid back and with a theme of aliens. We have stations like fire building, BB guns, archery, an obstacle course and much more. We would love your troop to join us this year on April 25-26 for this super fun scouting event!

The Briones Troop Challenge is an annual competition-style BSA Scout camp purposed to:

• Test and teach important scout skills with scout based leadership
• Foster a cooperative mindset through tasks requiring teamwork following the Scout Oath and Law
• Promote scout enthusiasm through fun activities involving Scouts from many different Troops while respecting the Outdoor Code

The Briones Troop Challenge is, will be, and always has been a Scout-led endeavor since its inception in 2013.
