What is Wood Badge?

• Advanced leadership training
• Takes place over 2 weekends, including 5 days and 4 nights

• The purpose of Wood Badge is to develop skilled leaders who can strengthen Scouting units in achieving the mission of Scouting America.
• Participants learn and practice skills that enable them to be better leaders, deliver a higher quality Scouting program, and provide more meaningful experiences for today's youth.

More Wood Badge Details

• Must attend both weekends to complete the course
• Camping is required on the second weekend
• Bring a completed BSA Health and Medical Form Parts ABC - See event attachments.
• Must have completed basic trainings in My.Scouting for your current position - See event attachments.
• Must wear full Field Uniform for your current Scouting position while on course
• Must come to the course with an open mind and be ready to learn and have fun!
