The Grand Canyon Council in conjunction with Freeport-McMoRan have joined together to offer your Scouts the best opportunity to earn the Mining in Society Merit Badge.

Adults are REQUIRED to REGISTER for this MB clinic (at no cost) if attending.

Read the Mining in Society MB booklet (available at Scout Shop)
Bring Worksheet with the following items completed: Requirements 1a, 1b and 1c, and Requirements 7a, 7b, 7c or 7d
Mining in Society worksheet
ALL attendees must wear long-sleeved shirts, long pants and closed-toe shoes
Mine Tour Permission Slip
Bring a pen
Blue cards are to be filled out with the following information prior to arriving at the workshop
