GCC Leadership Summit

District and Council Scouters of Grand Canyon Council,

Thank you for your continued leadership to the Scouts, leaders, and units of our council.  These are interesting times, indeed!  Our youth, neighborhoods, and communities need Scouting more now than ever before.

I hope you will join us Saturday, August 22nd, for our “Leadership Summit”.  You may recall the President’s Summit from past years, and this replaces that event.  The Leadership Summit is a day of training and planning for district and council Scouters.

Because of the pandemic, this year’s Leadership Summit will occur via Zoom only.  Topics will include updates from key Vice Presidents, an update on the Strategic Plan and our vision for 2021, budget training, and we’ll announce plans for our 100th anniversary celebration next year.  You won’t want to miss it!

The Leadership Summit will begin promptly at 9:30 and is scheduled to conclude by 2:15.  The last portion of the day will be the 2021 budget planning rollout and training, which may not be germane to all; Scouters can join in and drop off at their convenience.
