If you, a member of your community, or any of your Scouting leaders would like to host a virtual merit badge course, please contact Council Advancement Committee Chair Bill Nelson at gccadvancement1@gmail.com.

It is free to register as a MBC, training is available online, and you may make yourself available for up to 20 merit badges.  Some merit badges, such as water sports, shooting sports, and first aid, require proof of additional certifications.  Additional information on how to register to become a Merit Badge Counselor can be found at www.grandcanyonbsa.org/advancement/#MBC
