Come out and show off your skills at the First Ever Lego Derby and Pinewood Derby sponsored by Desert Wells Boy Scouts of America.

There is no fee to race in either event but Pinewood Derby Racers have specific requirements listed below. Feel free to compete in one or both of the Derby’s
There are two ways to have fun come to the Lego side and use our Lego’s to build your dream race car and watch it race down the track against other fellow master Lego builders. Each participant will get 5 minutes to build their car and then watch it race on our track. After your race is over feel free to go back to the build tables and build another one as our race team tears apart your Lego car and gets it ready for another builder to create their masterpiece. You can build a car and race in the Lego race as many times as you wish and there is no age requirement.

The second way is to build your own Pinewood Derby car at home and bring it to race. See how much fun it is to build and race which is only one of the many FUN things you can do as a cub scout. First purchase an official BSA derby kit from Michael’s, Lowe’s or the Mesa Scout Shop off Dobson and then build the fastest and most stylish car out there. Maybe you have an old Pinewood Derby Car at home bring it to race. Rules are listed at the registration link below and race participants must abide by all the regulations. Race against everyone to see if you are the best of the best.

All non-scouters/community participants will race in the OPEN/QC class.
