Bird Study Merit Badge

When:    Saturday April 8, 2016- 8:00 am to 2:00 PM

Where:  

Nina Mason Pulliam Rio Salado Audubon Center 

 3131 S. Central Ave, Phoenix AZ 85040

Prerequisites:   

Bring Bag Lunch

Read the Boy Scout Bird Study Merit Badge Book

#2 - Scout should have sketch drawn prior to Center visit. 

#3 -Scout will demonstrate the use and care of binoculars, (Center can provide bino's that Scouts can use)

#4 - prefer scout bring the guide they are most familiar with.

#5 - Scout will bring in their field notebook for review.

#7 - Scout bring in list/checklist of birds observed while birding with local club/group observation, we will review together.

#8 - a picture of a bird feeder, birdbath, or backyard sanctuary built by the Scout.

Parent/Guardian MUST stay and assist in keeping scouts on track

Bring a pen and clipboard
Wear Boy Scout Class A Uniform
Blue cards are to be filled out with the following information prior to arriving at the workshop
