The GCC Venturing Officers Association is hosting the

2021 Urban Adventure! 

The Urban Adventure is a photo scavenger hunt that is social media-fueled racing around downtown Phoenix! Scouts and Venturers will use their map reading skills, knowledge of public transportation, smart phones, and smarts to help them get to different way points around Phoenix on the light rail. Participants will collect clues, take pictures post to Twitter, and troubleshoot along the way!

Fee:  $7 per participant, which includes pizza and refreshments for lunch. A Bus & Light Rail pass is required for the event, that costs $4 at www.valleymetro.org/fares. 

When:  February 20th, 2021

• Check-in starts at 8:00 AM
• Race starts at 9:00 AM
• Return to Base Camp by 4:00 PM
• Event ends at 5:00 PM

Where: Heard Scout Pueblo, 1901 E Dobbins Rd. Phoenix, AZ

Who:

• All Scout Troops, Venture Crews, Sea Scout Ships, and Explorer Posts are invited to participate!
• Non-Scouts are welcomed as well! If a Scout brings a friend, and they fill out a youth application, bonus points will be given to your team for the adventure.
• Minimum of two adults per group.
