Prerequisites:  Scout must have completed both Tenderfoot and 2nd Class rank.  Proof of 2nd Class rank attainment will be required before participating in this Merit Badge.

Review the merit badge workbook PDF and bring a copy of the merit badge worksheet PDF completed with the following requirements: 1. a-b, 4.,5. ‘Explain the uses…’section, 7., 8.

Merit Badge Completion: Partial Completion

Fee: $10.00 cash, taken at the door

Additional Information:  This is not a 'sit and watch' clinic. To earn this merit badge a Scout must actually demonstrate with proficiency (= do with proficiency) what's required. Please note that simply demonstrating (doing) a skill set does not automatically mean that it was accomplished with proficiency. If your Scout is not prepared beforehand, then it's unlikely he will earn this merit badge.
