Come earn your Personal Fitness Merit Badge at Midwestern University Therapy Institute.

This merit badge is for any Scout age 11 or older who would like to earn their personal fitness merit badge. 

This event will include a combination of classroom learning and physical activities.

The cost is $12 per participant.

Sign up by November 27, 2025, for early bird pricing of $10 per participant. 

Participants should wear athletic clothing and bring:

• Water
• Proof of current dental examination within 6 months (first meeting only)
• Signed medical form parts AB&C including completion of physical examination using the Scout medical examination form with health care provider signature. (must have at first meeting)
• Personal Fitness merit badge workbook to every session (see attachments)
• 12 week fitness log to every session (will be given to Scouts at first session)

All sessions are required to complete the merit badge. All dates are below; plan accordingly.

Prior to registering, each Scout should discuss the merit badge with their Scoutmaster and follow the standard “blue card” process.  In this case the Scoutmaster should complete the “Initial Unit Leader Signature” block in Scoutbook.
