2024 High Adventure Training (HAT)

When: November 23, 2024 8:30am - 12:00pm

Where: Heard Scout Pueblo, Conference Room 3 (1901 E Dobbins Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85042)

HAT is a high adventure training for adults to help them plan and prepare for a high adventure outing for their Troop, Crew or Ship.  All registered adult Scouters are welcome.

The session will go over the mechanics of planning a high adventure outing including deciding where to go and planning resources for a specific type of outing, travel and transportation considerations, trip documents and what if’s? of the outing. Many more subjects to be included.

This is not an outing specific training but refers to all types of high adventure outings.  Opportunities for outing specific training will follow at another time.

Bring your questions, writing materials and the type of outing you are considering, along with your official BSA Field Uniform.
