Horse camp offers an amazing, fun-filled, outdoor camp experience for youth
in the Second Grade or are a Wolf or above for the 2025-2026 school year.

UNIQUE EXPERIENCE

Welcome to the breathtaking R-C Scout Ranch, nestled along the scenic Christopher Creek and surrounded by the awe-inspiring beauty of one of the world’s largest Ponderosa Pine forests. R-C is the perfect setting for youth to have an amazing outdoor experience with horses. Horse Camp is focused on youth spending time and interacting with our horses. It is the perfect introduction to horses, where youth learn how to properly feed and care for the horses. They go on horseback trail rides and have fun playing games and doing crafts. The horseback trail rides will only be for the youth campers.

LIMITED AVAILABILITY

We suggest campers register early, as there is a limited number of youth campers.

The session is three days of activity, two nights of camping and includes seven meals.
We invite you to arrive early and add on an extra night of camping.

ACCOMMODATION OPTIONS

We have a variety of lodging options available for families: rustic tents, family tents, and cabins.

Payment Plans

Early Camp Rate
Register by Wednesday, February 5, 2025, for Early Camp Rate:
- $50 Deposit per person
- Free Camp Safari Family Camp T-Shirt for Youth and Adults
- $75 Payment per person due by Wednesday, April 2, 2025 (Note: Payment required to keep your Early Camp Rate.)
- Final Payment due by Wednesday, May 7, 2025
- Late Fee starts per person on Thursday, May 8, 2025, for registrations with unpaid balance.

Regular Camp Rate
Register on Thursday, February 6 through May 7, 2025, for Regular Camp Rate:
- $125 Deposit per person.
- Final Payment due by Wednesday, May 7, 2025
- Each participant must be paid in full by Wednesday, May 7, 2025
- Late Fee of $30 per person starts on May 8, 2025 for registrations with unpaid balance.

Last Chance for Camp
Register on Thursday, May 8 through Wednesday, May 21, 2025, for Last Chance for Camp:
- Entire Camp Fee due per person at registration.
- Registration closes on Wednesday, May 21, 2025

Payments are due by 11:59 p.m. on the “by date”.

To add participants or options to your registration:

Open the Grand Canyon Council (grandcanyoncouncil@247scouting.com) email you received for your registration.  Within that confirmation email should be a link to "Click here to access registration".  Click on that link and it will take you to your reservation.

Once you are in your registration, you can go to Additional Actions and then Add Participant or add options by going to Registration Contact. Your registration will add the new items to your Cart and you will need to Check-Out to finalize the transaction.
