- October Shotgun Merit Badge - Camp Geronimo

This will be the only shotgun merit badge opportunity this fall and spaces are limited. Sign up Now! and join us for the Shotgun Merit Badge at Camp Geronimo. 

This course will go over the shotgun merit badge and provide students up to two days of range time to complete their merit badge requirements this weekend. 

Come camping at Camp Geronimo for the weekend, bring your Troop and attend the Shotgun Merit Badge at Camp Geronimo. 

This is a rigorous activity requiring good upper body strength and maturity. Suggested minimums: weight of 100 lb and age 12 is no guarantee the Scout will be successful.

We will provide all equipment, ammo, targets, and Staff. 

Location: Camp Geronimo

Fees: $55 per particpant, Sign up before August 17 to receive a $5 discount for early bird pricing. 

When: Classroom and Shooting - Starts at 9:00 AM on October 12th. Arrive a night early and camp at Camp Geronimo and stay through Sunday to make sure you get all the range time you need to complete the Merit Badge.

What to Bring:

-Merit Badge blue card filled out with the Shotgun MB requirement and Option A numbers for the Counselor to sign off.

-Water, snacks

-Meals (We are not providing any food during this course. Please bring your own meals.) 

-Activity Uniform (Class B) recommended

-Camping Gear if you plan to stay over night. All camping fees for participants are included in this course. If the rest of your Troop would like to come camping this weekend, contact GCC.Program@grandcanyonbsa.org to get a campsite for the Troop. 

-Adults must stay with their youth.
