Introduction to Outdoor Leadership Skills Training (IOLS)

IOLS Training

When: March 9-10th

Where: The Heard Scout Pueblo

 

Sign up by January 13th for early bird pricing!

 

Who: Scoutmaster and Assistant Scoutmasters

 

This is a one-time required training only available in person.  Any Scout BSA leader wishing to learn the necessary skills along with training tips and tricks for the Scout Ranks, Boy Scout through First Class.  This is also very useful for Webelos Leaders as many of these skills are taught at the Webelos Level. 

All Leaders will get IOLS Certified which is good for life.

Packing List:  

Tent, ground cloth, sleeping bag, and sleeping pad. 

Backpack, personal first-aid kit, seasonal clothing, rain gear, and extra clothing. 

Water bottle, flashlight, sun protection, compass, gps (if you own one), and a pocket knife. 

Mess kit (Spoon, knife, fork, plate, and cup), and personal toiletries.

Notebook and pen/pencil.
