Prerequisites: 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 

All prerequisites are due by August 19

Before enrolling, please make sure your Scoutmaster knows you are taking this virtual merit badge class.  

This class begins at 6:30pm Arizona Time, if out of state, make sure you understand the time difference before registering

Scouts must attend both nights

This badge will introduce Scouts to the rich history of the Scouting movement.

Subjects discussed in the classes include:

• Founders of Scouting (life and times)
• Significance of Brownsea Island, Boy Scout Handbook in Scouting history
• Patrol Method (history and purpose)
• How different programs developed (Cub Scouts, Scouting, Venturing, Exploring)
• National Scouting museum
• Philmont
• Personal, local and unit history in Scouting

This is a virtual course, a zoom link will be sent to the registrant

Attention Female Scouts, please make sure an adult female over 21 listens in on the class with you per BSA policy.
