Merit Badge

When:  Saturday, February 29, 2020 from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM

              (Please be on-time or you might be turned away)

Where: Energy Education Center
             600 N Airport Rd
             Buckeye, AZ 85326
             

Prerequisites:

1. Must have completed the 6th Grade - requires maturity to follow vocabulary etc.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                          
2. Read the Nuclear Science MB booklet (available at Scout Shop)

3.“Review vocabulary from workbooks so that scouts will be familiar with words that will be used. Vocabulary will be discussed during the presentation and throughout the day. Scouts will need to bring the workbook and the photo release form to the event.”
4. Troop leader, Parent/Guardian or chaperone are REQUIRED to stay during the MB clinic to assist in keeping Scouts on track.

Bring:

Bring a pen
Wear your BSA uniform or Boy Scout t-shirt.
Blue cards are to be filled out with the following information prior to arriving at the workshop:

           Badge requirements
           Their personal information

Pizza will be provided - Scouts with dietary restrictions please plan accordingly.

Additional Information:

There will be a separate activity for the adults, if they want to participate in the afternoon. We will be showing Pandora’s Promise in the auditorium to the adults who wish to see it. This is an optional activity for the adults. If any of them wish to stay with their units they are welcome to do so.
