STEM Virtual NOVA Event

Designed to Crunch

Who:   Calling all Scouts BSA who love STEM! Please join us for Designed to Crunch, a two-day, three hour online STEM program for those who would like to earn the Designed to Crunch Nova Award.  It is recommended that parents participate along with their Scout, to have fun as well as aide them with questions and understandings. 

When: Classes will be 2 nights.  Scouts must attend both nights to complete the awards course.

• Tuesday, April 13, 2021 - 6:00-7:30pm
• Wednesday, April 28, 2021 - 6:00-7:30pm

Fee:  $10- which includes, a GCC’s decorative patch. Units will be responsible to award the NOVA  Award itself.

Where:  At your home! Our instructors will be leading the course ONLINE, with Scouts and their families calling in through ZOOM.

Participation:  We are capped at 20 Scouts. We would love to include everyone, and our limit is to ensure that our Scouts have the opportunity to ask questions as well as receive attention and support throughout! If this proves to be a well attended and received program, we aspire to provide additional future classes for other ranks and STEM advancements.
