WHEN & WHERE
Cub Scout Fun Day with a Super Hero theme will be held on Saturday, October 20th. Camp will open on Friday, October 19th, at 3 PM for families who want to camp-over Friday night. Make sure to bring all your camping essentials and food for Friday dinner and Saturday breakfast. We will have a full day of activities starting at 8:45 AM on Saturday and ending at 4:00 PM. We will provide lunch on Saturday. Families are welcome to camp-over Saturday night but must be prepared to have their own Saturday dinner and Sunday breakfast. Camp closes at 4:00 PM on Sunday afternoon.

Program
Cubs Scouts will be organized into dens according to age and grade levels. Kindergarteners (Lions) and 1st Graders (Tiger Cubs) must be accompanied by a parent. All Cub Scouts must be supervised by an adult. Cubs camp as families. Each Den will have a Den Leader. Den size will vary from 8 – 12 scouts. The buddy system will be used for all activities.
Be sure to check the forecast and wear weather-appropriate clothing. Cub Scouts and their families need sturdy closed toed shoes, hats, water to drink, sunscreen and all their own camping equipment. A small day pack/backpack is very helpful. See "Personal Camping Equipment List" attachment.
At check-in families will be shown where to set up camp. Cubs will be given their Super Cub cape and be shown where they can decorate when. Camp-wide ceremonies are held to open and close activities on Saturday. A Scout is Reverent. Opening and Closing Ceremonies may include non-denominational prayers and all are encouraged to offer thanks at mealtime.
On Saturday, dens will rotate through a variety of stations. Activities will include Games, Citizenship, First Aid, Hiking, Survival, Nature, and special events.
Cubs and leaders will be provided lunch on Saturday. This is to be a rest period for the Scouts. No other meals will be provided.
FEES FOR CAMP
Day Camp is self-supported and staffed with volunteers. The fee provides for program materials, craft items, patches, insurance, and many other things necessary to conduct a successful Cub Fun Day.
The Cub Camp Fee will be $65/family due at check in on Friday afternoon.

Adult leaders should have a current Health & Medical Record (Parts A & B) for each of their scouts.
