OA Member's Service Projects and
Brotherhood Ceremony
On Saturday, November 1st, we will be at the Heard Scout Pueblo for the monthly LEC meeting, undertaking various service projects to prepare for Cubtopia, and ending the day with the last Brotherhood opportunity for 2025.
The day's cost is free; donations are appreciated. We kindly request that you register to help coordinate meals. If you are going through your Brotherhood, there is an additional cost of $25 to cover the cost of your new sash.
Registration closes on Thursday, October 30, at 11:59 p.m.
Saturday Schedule:
·9 am LEC (Lodge Executive Committee)
·Starts 11 am Service Projects
·1 pm Lunch Break (provided)
·Until 5 pm Service Projects Continue
·5:30 pm Dinner (provided)
·6:30 pm Brotherhood Check-In
·7 pm Brotherhood Walk
What you need to be successful at this event:
·Water Bottle
·Work Clothes that can get dirty – including shoes.
·Gloves to protect your hands – very important.
·Sun Protection: Sunglasses, Hat, Sun Screen, Sun Shirt, etc.
·Flashlight Headlamp.
Do I need a Scout Uniform and Order of the Arrow Sash for this event?
Yes – please wear your full Scout uniform and Order of the Arrow Sash for the LEC Meeting, Dinner, and the Brotherhood Walk and Ceremony.
For Brotherhood Candidates:
Brotherhood candidates not attending the LEC should plan to arrive by 1 pm to participate in the service projects. To be eligible for Brotherhood, you must have completed your ordeal at the April 2025 Induction Weekend at Camp Geronimo (or earlier).
