***Urgent Notice: Relocation of Fall Induction Weekend 9/13 - 9/15 to Camp Raymond***

On August 28th a lightning strike near Camp Geronimo started a wildfire that as of Thursday evening had grown to 28 acres. Hotshot crews are actively engaging the fire through selective thinning coupled with a back burning.  There is no apparent risk to our shared summertime home.  Unfortunately, as part of these efforts, closures in the vicinity of Camp Geronimo, including the Fire Control road from AZ87 to Whispering Pines, went into place on 9/5/2024.

With the uncertainty around when these travel restrictions will be lifted, coupled with the potential issues around air quality on property, the Lodge has decided in the best interest of our members to move the upcoming event to: CAMP RAYMOND  7709 S Boy Scout Camp Rd Parks, AZ 86018 

Note: The only change to this upcoming event is the location, the schedule of activities and planned events remain the same. As you prepare for next weekend, please consider both travel time and changes in climate associated with the new location.
