2023 Leave No Trace Trainer Course

March 18-19, 2023 - Register before March 1, 2023

Course Location: Heard Scout Pueblo, 1901 E Dobbins Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85042

Course Description: Participants will receive hands-on training in Leave No Trace skills, ethics, and the Seven Principles of Leave No Trace in both classroom and outdoor environments. Participants are required to attend all sessions, give a Leave No Trace presentation/demonstration (topic to be coordinated prior to course), and camp overnight. Graduates of the course will be recognized as Leave No Trace Trainers within the BSA and with the Center for Outdoor Ethics. Graduates will be able to conduct Leave No Trace Awareness Workshops and may assist on future Leave No Trace Trainer courses.

Schedule: Check-in will begin at 4:00PM on Saturday. Course sessions will begin at 5:00PM Saturday and conclude at 6:00PM on Sunday.

Course Fee: $75 - Course Fee includes training materials for the course and meals (Saturday Cracker Barrel, Sunday Breakfast & Lunch, snacks).

MUST BE A REGISTERED MEMBER OF BSA, 14 YEARS OR OLDER TO PARTICIPATE.
