Tech Talk

Cub Scout NOVA (Virtual)

Who:  Calling all Wolves, Bears, Webelos and AOLs who love STEM! Please join us for Tech Talk, a three-day, four-hour online STEM program available to all Wolves, Bears, and Webelos who would like to earn the Tech Talk STEM Nova Adavancement!  It is recommended that parents participate along with their Scout, to have fun as well as aide them with questions and understandings. Participants who complete the course will receive a Tech Talk patch and complete the program to earn the award. Units will be responsible to award the NOVA reward itself.

When: Classes will be 3 nights from 6pm to about 7:15pm each night.   Scouts must attend all three nights to complete the awards course.

• Monday, January 18, 2021 - 6-7:15pm
• Wednesday, January 20, 2021 - 6-7:15pm
• Wednesday, January 27, 2021 - 6-7:15pm

Space is limited, so that our instructors can answer questions and ensure a quality program; Please don't hesitate to register, $5 secures your seat in the online class!

Where:  At your home! Our instructors will be leading the course ONLINE, with Scouts and their families calling in through ZOOM.

Participation:  We are capped at 20 Scouts. We would love to include everyone, and our limit is to ensure that our Scouts have the opportunity to ask questions as well as receive attention and support throughout! If this proves to be a well attended and received program, we aspire to provide additional future classes for other ranks and STEM advancements.

Requirements: Scouts will need access to a camera to take photos. A photo assignment will be given on the first night along with instructions to upload to a google drive.
