Participants at the Rifle Range will have an opportunity to learn how to shoot and hone their skills with the Range's accurate .22 Target Rifles on a 50 foot Range. This is accomplished in a safe, controlled environment under the watchful eyes of NRA certified and BSA approved instructors. Each session begins with a thorough safety briefing, and follows with ample time to work towards the shooting portion of the Rifle Merit Badge. Shooters of all skill levels are welcome to participate whether it is for the Merit Badge, NRA Qualification Awards, or just for fun.

Our instructors are experienced in helping everyone from beginners through experts. Subject to available space, Moms, Dads, Sisters, Brothers might even get a chance to shoot. You must be a registered Scout and at least eleven years old, to participate in the morning open shoot courses.

For Rifle MB  - we recommend the Troop come to the Pueblo Friday evening to the range for the book portion.  Then on Saturday they shoot for the qualification part.  Is the work for your rifle merit badge complete? Then you can shoot for NRA awards and earn additional patches!

If you are interested in camping overnight, please send an email to Donna.Kutarnia@Scouting.org for availability.

CUB SCOUTS - looking for a fun event to do on a Saturday Afternoon? -  BB Rifle Open Shoots are available 9 months of the year.  Sign up and have FUN! Note - Open shoots do not qualify the Cub for the Cub shooting sports awards.
