invites you to join us for Cub Scout FUN and ADVENTURE!!!

Who:  Cub Scouts!  Lions, Tigers, Wolves, Bears and Webelos!  Invite a friend! 

What: Pinewood Derby, STEM Nova Activities and YoYo fun!!

When:  Saturday, October 31 - 10:00AM to 4 PM   Happy Halloween!!

Where: Desert Breeze Park, Boy Scout Outdoor Skills Area; just north of Chandler Blvd on Desert Breeze Parkway, between McClintock and Rural.  Please download the map for directions.

Why:  To have FUN and Adventure!  Race a Pinewood Car, conduct an experiment, learn to "walk the dog".

Cost: $3 for each Cub Scout racing in the District Derby, after October 14th the cost is $5.

"Rev up" those engines and get ready to have fun racing your Pinewood Derby car.  

We have prizes for each level and the overall District winners!  Also a prize for the best Halloween themed car!  Make a new one or bring an old car but come and have fun!

BUT WAIT!  THERE'S MORE!!!  We will also work on the Nova "Science Everywhere" module where Scouts will race special Pinewood cars on an extra track and conduct a scientific experiment!   

We will also offer the YOYO Adventure Loop and your scout can learn the great art of yoyo-ing.

PS.  Health and Safety Protocol will be in place.  Please bring the completed Pre-Event Screening Checklist and Waiver form to the event.  The Health Form Part A is needed for the photo release.  The forms must be submitted at the Med Check-In table and temperatures will be taken before entry.  You will receive a wristband indicating you are good to go.  Wear a mask.  Let's all be safe and have FUN!
